My name is Julia.
The value that I can bring to your business is my ability to uncover hidden opportunities and solve problems through creative solutions. I lived in three countries (and traveled a handful ones) before settling in the U.S. This - uniquely - gives me the ability to relate to people from different perspectives and see latent possibilities.
I studied Communications with focus on Advertising Production; have a Master's Degree in Management and Leadership. Worked in a variety of companies from large corporations to small businesses; resided in User Experience, Technology or Marketing teams; was a Graphic Designer, Front-End Developer, UX Designer/Architect/Researcher/ Manager over the past 13 years. I continue to learn and obtain certifications that apply to my current work.
I love being in the UX field where I can connect human and technology. Looking to solving a good problem and surrounding myself with people who are awesome at their job.
I work in the following areas over the past decade. Sometimes, I'm a UX team-of-one conducting user research, interfacing with stakeholders, producing design deliverables, and strategizing an experience using UX process. Other times, I manage a team of a designer or a researcher whom I collaborate on the work and coach the person in all things UX.
How user interacts with a system, company, and brand at any levels.
Defining an intended user experience through aligning user needs, business vision, and technical capabilities.
Talking to the users and the business. The results of these inform design decisions.
I'm happy to talk through each project in person. Interview me.
